I spent quite a while mulling over some very wordy directions for this piece, then ultimately decided to dial it down and scrawled these two bubbles on the page. It feels a bit lazy, but I’m amused by it.
Not sure why I’m all about the animal strips lately.
MRS. SHOEBOX’S ASSESSMENT OF TODAY’S STRIP: I like it…but it’s very strange.

Coworker: “You know how when geese fly in a V there’s always one leg that’s longer than the other? Know why that is?”
Me: “Uh. No.”
Coworker: “More geese on that side.”
My dad always used to say, “If ya ain’t the lead dog, the view never changes.” I suspect this is something like that…..?
Thanks for resisting the cliche “Who Farted?” joke.
I like the sarcastic poster that shows geese in formation and talks about how much less effort it takes them to fly that way. Then it says “Even in nature, teamwork leads to collective laziness.”
