Yet another “mother and daughter in a cloud-shaped blob looking at something” clip (“Leaf Pressing” and “Computer Research” are a couple of other recent examples.)  I have no idea why this is a thing.

The ant’s line from the second panel was originally the punchline.  I re-worked it to add a second punch, then almost dropped the original punch to make it stronger.  But somehow I just can’t bring myself to part with “noisy mobile meat piles.”

Anyway:  As some of you are aware, in addition to writing this strip, I also perform as a comedy synth-punk act under the name Worm Quartet.  In the wake of the recent happenings in Japan, I have decided to donate 50% of my proceeds from March to the relief effort.  If you’re interested in checking this out, my poorly-designed online store for Worm Quartet is here.  50% of my proceeds from digital sales will also be donated, so if you enjoy living in the future, you can also buy Worm Quartet mp3s on CDBabyiTunes or Amazon.
