This guy’s been staring at me from my “potential strip art” pile for a long damned time. I initially figured I’d take him in a creepy direction of some sort, something about a family-sized feed bag only holding half a family or something, but I could never make it work. Then I noticed the hat, and this gag was born.
MRS. SHOEBOX’S ASSESSMENT OF TODAY’S STRIP: *snort* (laugh) Um…I found the comedy content satisfactory, and snorted appropriately. Put that. I don’t want to say the same thing for every strip.
See you guys ‘n’ gals on Friday!

I was waiting for “Most people assume I’m a diver”.

Even today, discrimination against rectangles is a serious issue in spite of such well known public awareness efforts as the “Hip to Be Square” campaign.
Funny, but not your best. I read it twice before I got it, maybe I’m just slow. XD
Pretty nice though, I would of sworn you would of gone for the “FEED” gag, and how upset he is.
You can never expect what will come from ShoEboX! Keep it up man!
Wow, I just looked it up, and the rebel flag IS an X. all this time when I tried to imagine it, I thought of the british flag only more red
This one is “thnork worthy”… And it IS one of your better ones! I’d put it right up there with the one you did where Charlie Brown went to kick the football and Lucy moved it at the last second. YOU are a comic GENIUS!
Am I the only one who’s creeped out by the fact that a clipart cartoon character knows what I’m thinking?
I also thought “diver”. Scary to think what he’d dive in, though.
I actually thought that was a USPS hat. (And technically, it looks more like a quarter-X)
I’m still worried about that giant bag of “Ribbon Brand-X” feed the dude’s holding though.
Diver was the first thing that occurred to me, too.
