This one came to me while I was folding laundry. I’m pretty sure it’s inspired to a large degree by XKCD’s brilliant “ball pit” thing from a million years ago. My wife has pronounced it “cute.”
Sorry this is a day late – I had a completely different strip almost ready to go last night but was exhausted and ended up accidentally doing a series of very stupid things which resulted in an unusable strip and a realization that I desperately needed to sleep. That strip, in its resuscitated form, will likely see the light of day this Friday. See you then!

Of course, speaking strictly from a physics point of view, there is no such thing as centrifugal force. That is, the force of an object moving from the inside of an orbit to the outside as it spins along the axis.
The real force at work is centripetal force which is the force of the axis pulling on the object, preventing it from moving away in a straight line. And even centripetal force is not the true cause as everything is caused by inertia.
Aww, screw it! Great comic! Makes me want to see the next game between them.
A laughable claim, Mr. Baywolfe, perpetuated by overzealous teachers of science. Simply construct Newton’s laws in a rotating system and you will see a centrifugal force term appear as plain as day.
Come now, do you really expect me to do coordinate substitution in my head while strapped to a centrifuge?
(Also, I can’t help but wonder how often “doing a series of very stupid things” results in a usable strip…)
On further note, there is little evidence that centrifugal force would remove a shirt, unless she was the one being spun by her feet. But that’s no reason not to try. The heart of science is experimentation after all.

Awesome. Delightful and amusing, wrapped up with good humor.
And then, of course, the comments lift it up to another level. It makes me proud to be a member of this internet’s geek community.
I started reading from the beginning last week and this is the first one of yours that made me chuckle.
