The previous strip about the claw machine may have been a true story, but what brought it to mind was another IM conversation with my friend -=ShoEboX=-. If that didn’t put him in the lead for inspiring PartiallyClips strips through IM, then this one did. His son Steve did ask for “2 Supermans” for his birthday. I only briefly considered changing that to “Supermen” but “Supermans” is a lot funnier.

I don’t think it’s that hard to find a problem that can’t be solved by one Superman.
But I think it´s really difficult to think of a problem that one Superman can’t solve but two Supermen can. At least as long as it doesn’t involve him fighting himself or something.
I think that “Supermans” is correct. There are not two men who are each super. There is a Superman and another Superman = two Supermans

That is totally Jerry Stiller in the clipart. You can practically hear Arthur raising his voice about wanting two Superman action figures in his childhood (for some crazy reason) and never getting them.
