I was all over the map with this one, as I wrote it after reading up on Aesop, on grasshoppers, on “A Bug’s Life” and all kinds of other related junk.  I think the line about Jiminy Cricket being played by a grasshopper is the strongest joke in the strip but I couldn’t figure out how to make it be the main punchline.
