The second I saw this guy’s amulet or whatever it is, he was the Wizard of Bling to me.  There was no other way to go with this clip.

But initially, I wanted it to be about him.  I had a half-formed idea about his fading power in the face of his nemesis Prep-Hop.  But nothing funny really gelled.

I remembered this “quest” theme I started with Paradox Dragon and continued with Cliché Monster, and took it from there.  I watched a couple episodes of Pimp My Ride on MTV.com for the hell of it, too.
