Same old same old. I struggle for hours with a clip, ditch it, pick up a new one, and write a strip in 5 minutes. May not be pure wit, but character humor is fun, too.
This one required adding the standing figure, which I did freehand with the mouse, pixel by pixel, trying to match the style of the original artist. I could have made the words come from off panel, but it seemed clearer to put a figure there.
Wow. If I’d been asked what part of the picture had been added after the fact, I would have guessed the guy sitting on the edge of the cliff. The standing figure really blends in with the style, while the sitting figure mostly just blends in with the cliff.
