Generally I throw out the first few ideas and associations I have with the art, because they’re almost always cliches.
At least in the east and midwest, non-migratory Canada geese have become pests on golf courses, parks and beaches. That was the natural association I had with them, and I wanted to throw it out and do somethng weirder or less obvious.
But this dialogue kind of naturally flowed as I thought about it, and it has the kind of nice circular punchline I like. So what the hell, here it is.
