I altered the art here a little bit: her eyes looking out the door, and the thing that could be a Scrabble board on the table.
I originally was going to say “future Scrabble™ players will thank me.” But three things stopped me. There was the problem of the ™ breaking up the timing. There was the Leno-esque “hit them over the head with the punchline for fear someone might not get it” problem. And then there was the anachronism problem.
Obviously the invention of the adz predates the invention of Scrabble. But what if this mythical comic peasant invented both, without getting credit? In cartoon logic (or PClips logic) it makes more sense.
