Momentum is a funny thing, either as a barrier to getting started or a way to easily keep moving.  This clip extended a long bout of writer’s block for me, becuase I fiddled with it obsessively, both on the art side and the wording.  I had to decide, finally, that it needed to be done.  And therefore, good or awful, it was done.

The thing I find amusing about the pseudo-political joke here is that I can see my friends on both the Right and Left claiming this as a point for their side.  If anything, I am just taking a jab at the process.  More ridiculous concepts than this are being signed into law every week.

I’d like to attend a performance on the USS William J Clinton, though.  I bet they could do justice to the 1812 Overture, say.  Or South Pacific.
