Here is a weird bonus strip for you, with an interesting story behind it.  I hope it loads okay.

Whispered Apologies is an ongoing collaborative webcomic project run by Ryan North (Daily Dinosaur Comics) and Joey Comeau (A Softer World).  Basically, any artist may contribute an art-only comic.  It then goes into storage.  It is up to a small group of webcomics writers to choose one of the submitted pieces and supply the words.  

I had been invited to participate once before, and I felt like doing it again.  Ryan said go for it.  So I chose this art from the archives, sent it in, and then the oops happened.

Seems another writer had chosen the same art and written to it.  Well, rather than take away any of that writer’s spotlight, I said “Okay, I will do another one later.”  Ryan said he’d hate to lose the joke, so I said, “Okay, I’ll make it a bonus comic and send people over to look at the other one.”  Ryan said, “They should call you ‘Rob “Perfect Solution” Balder!’”

EDIT: The “another writer” was the talented Alexander Danner of “Twenty Seven Letters.”  And the artist was the eponymous Deadmouse of Deadmouse.net.  I shall be reading his/her archives in the near future.
