Okay so the clip art collection has this one called “crane operator” but I am pretty sure it’s actually a dragline excavator and that’s the premise.

I’m sure there will be much speculation in this forum thread as to where, exactly, a dragline excavator could have significantly changed history.  It was in trying to think of one and failing that I came up with this joke.

I debated “shit” in the punchline and decided that a construction worker talking to himself would almost certainly not say “stuff.”  That was hard, because I almost think “stuff” is funnier.  Hard to say…
