As usual when I alter the art on a clip, it was the eyes.  This guy was looking skyward for some reason, and it didn’t work.  The dummy’s spooky eyes, I left as they were.

This guy is kind of a throwback.  He’s dressed like it’s the late 50s and he’s in a Borscht Belt comedy nightclub or resort stage.  But not even Lenny Bruce would have done a joke like this back then, I think.  Too much comedy history has been written since then.  Too much new ground was broken.  You don’t think of a joke like this unless you’ve seen Andy Kaufman, Penn & Teller, MST3K, Monty Python, Classic SNL…  Comedy changed a lot in the last 40 years, and definitely for the better.
