This strip grew out of a discussion about humor I was having with Anson Smith, aka Kendrian, the writer of “Daze in a Haze.”  We had both just taken an LJ humor type quiz which labeled us each a “Wit,” even though our scores were significantly different on the three subcriteria.  I wanted to get at the differences between our styles, and we ended up having large parts of this conversation verbatim.  I decided to co-opt it into a strip, but didn’t know how, til I realized it really wasn’t funny without a punchline to bring it home.

And I want to add that when I shave my goatee and wear a suit, I look a LOT like the guy in this clip.
