I really wish I had gotten this one together two weeks ago for Fathers Day.  Actually, I had a comic set for Fathers Day and when I went to lay it out, I decided the joke sucked and couldn’t be saved by a rewrite.  Bah.

In the original art, the mother is in this pic too, and is feeding some chickens on the ground.  It made a lot less sense as a discussion with her throwing feed in each panel, so I chopped her out before I even began.  I had a joke going about getting an offer on the farm and planning to sell it, but it kept dead-ending so I started over.

That thing he is carrying is a chicken.  Not great clip art.
