There’s a lot to say about this strip. I could talk about how there are more f-bombs in this one than all other PClips strips combined. I could talk about the first use of a manga-style ellipsis balloon. I could talk about how writing this clip was so agonizingly difficult that my inability to squeeze a joke out of it in countless hours of agonizing struggle, stretching to days and then weeks, and my unwillingness to put it down and work on a more productive clip while I could still plausibly meet my deadlines nearly killed this entire comic…
But I think all I really want to say is: FUCK WRITER’S BLOCK! I did it!!
I laughed pretty hard at this one. I found the contrast between the intelligent (and ironic) observation about the limitations of language in expressing complex thoughts with “fuck it right in the nose!” to be quite humorous.
This makes me think of Peppermint Pattie and Marcie for some reason
