This one ran in Nth Degree issue #12 and Mike called it “a groaner.” As I have said before, something less than 10 percent of all strips I do use puns, so I try to save up my pun allowance for the high-impact ones. Here you get a two-for-one.
Although I am writing (sporadically) two Fantasy humor stories, unfortunately “High Elves and Funny Brownies” would not make a good title for either one.

*facepalm* Until I read the commentary, I didn’t even catch the double meaning to “brownies”. I thought it was just a “High Elves are stereotypical hippies” joke. As I was typing this, I also realized the play on words in “/High/ Elves”. I bow in honor of your punurgy.
