This one ran in Nth Degree issue #12 and Mike called it “a groaner.”  As I have said before, something less than 10 percent of all strips I do use puns, so I try to save up my pun allowance for the high-impact ones.  Here you get a two-for-one.

Although I am writing (sporadically) two Fantasy humor stories, unfortunately “High Elves and Funny Brownies” would not make a good title for either one.

To my readers from Language Log[/b], sorry for no apostrophe on “CAUSE” in the last panel.  It was more of a graphic design issue.  Don’t stop linking me ’cause of that, ‘kay?
