Gotta love a strip idea that forces me to research both Japanese poetry and fiberglass mold manufacture. Actually the line in her poem which sounds the most fake to me is the only one I borrowed from an actual poem.
The spring has passed
And the summer come again;
For the silk-white robes,
So they say, are spread to dry
On the “Mount of Heaven’s Perfume.”
That by way of this e-text at the University of Virgina. Nice to know I can steal snippets of an education from a school that wouldn’t admit me.
