You want to know how much I obsess about writing these strips?  Do you?  I’ll tell you.

It actually bothered me that this was the second reference to tollhouse cookies in a first-punchline in a strip.  I came very close to changing the cookie type, tried various cookies in place of tollhouse, and ultimately decided that there wasn’t a funnier cookie for that line.  I realize that not every strip I’ve written is a comedy gem, but I assure you that no joke has failed for a lack of effort.  :Þ
