I have used other people’s trademarks in strips before this one, most notably Mutant, which I set in the X-Men universe.  This one worried me so much I consulted my lawyer about it, mainly because Mutant can be seen as a parody and this one is just borrowing someone’s universe and trademarked names for a joke of my own.  Apparently this has roughly a one in a million chance of serious backlash, which is kinda what I figured.

I did decide against saying “apologies to DC Comics” because that seems lame and I am not really sorry.  Smiley

You just made my day again. Scooby Doo and Batman allusions in the same webcomic, just a few clicks apart?

    …I am very happy indeed.
