Lately I have been doing a lot of situational dialogue-driven humor…just funny snippets of conversation lacking any attempt at profundity, and generally not very dark.  It’s not an attempt to lighten up the strip; it’s more like a foray into a new type of writing.  I haven’t decided whether or not it’s me yet.  I kind of worry that if I drift too far from the roots of the strip that I will be breaking the contract with the reader that I have established.  We’ll see.
