Sometimes a strip will grow directly out of a conversation I’ve had with someone.  In the case of this strip, that was an IM conversation with my friend Tim Buckley of the justly-popular webcomic Ctrl+Alt+Del.  If you’re wondering who was who, I was actually both sides of this conversation, or at least both sides of the punchline.  I was kind of off on a tear.  Tim agreed that I should turn the double-punch into a strip, so it was a matter of finding a clip and a set-up.  I think this one is nicely circular.  You’d never know I wrote it backwards from the punch instead of forwards from the clip.
