When am I going to stop leaning on putting modern references in historical clips?  FWIW it seems like this particular gag holds together, but I just think it’s too much the first-thing-you’d-think-of whenever you see a clip from another time period.

“Hey, fellow cave man.  Wouldn’t it be great if we had some sort of self-motivated conveyance to drive around in?”  “Hey yeah, we could really do some damage throwing rocks at a deer from one of those babies!”

Yeah, that’s what I am trying to avoid.  Is it any wonder these strips are getting harder and harder to write?
