This is the second time I have “stolen” a gag from myself.  That is, I took some joke I made in a conversation with someone and used it in a strip.  For some reason, I feel almost as dirty about doing that as if I had stolen a gag from someone else.  People seem to think I’m nuts for thinking that, but it does feel somehow like cheating.
