After I wrote this one, it occurred to me that it’s very much in the style of Satan’s Parakeet’s new comic, A Man and His Plant, only it’s a dog.

I know that this strip isn’t too PC, but this is a meta-joke.  If the point of this strip were meant to be the Polish joke, then it would be the third-panel punchline.  This is not a Polish joke, but a lighthouse-keeper/shut-in joke.  It’s a joke about how weird people start to get when they are out of social contact for a long time.
