I wrote this one last week, and I am so pleased with it that I am skipping more than 20 strips and presenting it out of sequence. This is the PERFECT PartiallyClips – creepy, dark, funny and with a twist at the end that you won’t see coming. I haven’t gotten full feedback on it yet, but right now I feel like if one strip had to represent the character of the whole project, I would pick this one (or Pool Table).
Update on “Buying Plants”
What an interesting coincidence that this strip should run the same week they found Chandra Levy’s badly-decomposed remains. For the record, this was posted before the story broke. Despite that fact, and the fact that I once worked in Gary Condit’s office, I had nothing to do with it, I swear! I hope I am not plagued by any Angela F-ing Lansburys.
On reflection, I suspect this is a Murder She Wrote reference. I, on the other hand, thought it was a reference to her origination of the role of Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd.
