Dentist

The debate has raged. Should the line be “The Elements of Style” or “Strunk & White’s” in the third panel? I’m not refuting the superior comedy value of the word “Strunk,” but I ultimately decided that it’s an accessibility issue. Some people who read this strip will just not have been exposed to that book. By putting in “The Elements of Style” at least they have a chance to get the gag by picking up context clues.

    Funny comic. Oddly enough, as a child, our dentist clipped a wire inside of my sister’s mouth and it shot into her cheek where it remains today, 45 years later!

    I hope this never happens in our offices.
